The pool area was very nice, but since it was November, it was mostly closed and the one entrance to the outdoor space was quite a long walk (through the casino). Like most Vegas hotels, you cannot go anywhere without going through the casino which is quite smoky.

The check-in line was long and slow both times I had to wait in it. They could not accommodate the request which is not their fault, but they said they would text when a room was ready and they never did. I arrived before check-in time and hoped to check-in early. I spent one night at the Hard Rock while attending a work meeting down the street.
